Add a new field for the Personalized Search on a BO

On any BO on the Quick Search page we have the Personalize tab. This tab shows a default set of fields for searching.

How to add additional fields under this tab?


Resolution
The active search results specified as default for the security group determines what fields will be visible on the Personalize tab for an user.

On an OOB(Out Of the Box) system, for example, the personalized tab of the Company BO, has the default ASRL(Active Search Result List) for the Company BO as the Company default ASRL.

On observation, the Phone field is not set to be visible in the ASRL definition in the customization system. Hence it does not appear in the Personalize tab for the Company BO.

Once the Phone is set to be visible this field is now available in the Personalize tab of the Company BO. This ASRL is the default one setup in the Base CMS features security group on the OOB system, for the Company BO.
